Acceptance of terms
Welcome to the Farmacia MIA online store, operated by Farmacia MIA Corp. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of them, please do not use our site. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time; changes take effect upon posting.
Eligibility
To make purchases, the customer must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into contracts under applicable law.
Products
Farmacia MIA offers over-the-counter (OTC) compounded and wellness products, prepared under strict quality standards. None of the products in this store require a prescription. Images, descriptions, ingredients, availability, and prices may change without notice. While we strive to keep information accurate and current, we do not warrant that it is entirely error-free.
Orders
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse any order.
- Cancel orders due to pricing or availability errors.
- Limit quantities per customer.
- Request additional information to verify a purchase.
- Cancel orders when there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud.
An order is accepted only once payment has been authorized and confirmed.
Prices and tax (IVU)
Prices shown do not include Puerto Rico Sales and Use Tax (IVU). The applicable IVU (10.5% state + 1% municipal = 11.5%) is calculated and added at checkout.
Payments
We accept the payment methods available through Shopify Payments. All transactions are processed through secure systems. We reserve the right to cancel orders when there are signs of fraud or when payment information cannot be verified.
Intellectual property
All content on this site (text, logos, images, designs, photographs, videos, trade names, and other material) is the exclusive property of Farmacia MIA and is protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written authorization is prohibited.
Compounded products
Our compounded products are prepared under strict quality controls. By their nature, slight variations in color, texture, scent, or appearance may occur between batches without affecting their quality or effectiveness. They must be used only as directed on their label. If you experience an adverse reaction, stop use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
Limitation of liability
Farmacia MIA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the products purchased. The customer is responsible for reading the directions, ingredients, and warnings of each product before use.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable U.S. federal laws. Any dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Puerto Rico.
Dispute resolution / Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms or a purchase may be resolved through binding arbitration under the law applicable in Puerto Rico, instead of a court trial, unless the law provides otherwise. By using this site, you agree to resolve disputes individually and not as part of a class action.
